Gem of the California Coast
At Montaña de Oro State Park, rolling hills, rugged cliffs, and sandy beaches come together to create a breathtaking playground for people, their bicycles, and their four legged friends – be it doggies or horsies.
Driving into Montaña de Oro on a bright happy Sunday, we are in awe of the cliff-side ocean views. But then we pull up to Spooner’s Cove, and the natural beauty overwhelms us. Craggy cliffs and rocks frame the blue-green sea and the perfectly curved beach. The feel of the breeze, the sound of the waves, and the pull of the tide entice you out onto the rocks to be as close as possible to the wildness of nature.
